Even if it was for just a a little bit. I look forward to getting back under 250 and staying there.
Today was a rest day though. I kind of needed it. Just ran 1 lap.

I don’t recall having such an easy time burning 1000 calories.
After today’s workout, I feel I could do more. Shoot 1500 is in the realm of possibility.
Here is what I did
Total 1134
Oh Yeah, check out my weight. This is promising.
Weight: 249.4
This post was actually made on March 10th but is for March 9th and will sound like it was made on the 9th. Was just too exhausted to post.
I had a really horrible time sleeping last night, just two hours. It was so bad that I could not drive in to work completely, I had to stop off in a parking lot to take a quick nap.
I went to lunch with some coworkers and had to take a nap after that.
But when I did get in to the gym, the warmup and adreneline kicked in. I was able to push and actually had a good workout. When I got home I was done, so exhausted.
I did weigh in and I am happy, this made it worth it.
Weight: 250.0
Today I really kicked it into gear. If there was any doubt that I am not back, today wiped it out.
I ran two laps today in near record time. I don’t think it is a record, but sure as heck close. My time 23:51.76
I think I was a wee bit faster, by a second or so. But I did not fully depress the stop button on my watch in time.
Weight also not too shabby.
Weight: 251.8
Again I was too busy to get my run in this afternoon. Also it was fairly wet but I have run in worse.
So I opted for an aerobic video. The last time I did this same video I was still fairly out of shape and could not do all of the exercises. I did do well and was able to do all of the exercises. Both feet hung in there but I was not accurate nor were my motions as aggressive as they should be in the end.
Regardless, bottom line is I am getting in shape again.
This weight is an oddity, it is in the evening after dinner but before my workout. Basically the heaviest point I am during the day on average.
Weight: 256.2
It has been a while since I reached any new milestones. Today I ran a 4+, the time was OK, 48:19. In fact if I looked correctly it is my third best run. Not sure but still pretty decent. As of right now the record stands at 45:07.
So I need to really improve in order to break that time, and mark my words, I will.
What makes today significant is that I did not stop or walk at all. I timed the lights so I could run through intersections safely, I went around cars, and most of all, there is this one slope at about mile 2.5 that I have walked through in the past.
Today I powered through it.
Today my weigh was as normal as could be. Conditions were great for running and I think I trimmed some pounds when running. One the still bothers me a lot.
I keep asking myself, “Why is it so hard to crack 250?”
Weight: 253.0
It’s been an interesting two weeks and two days without meat. I realize that it is possible to still eat unhealthy after swearing off meat.
I see it in late night snacking, cookies, and candy, etc. I have a little over 4 weeks left and I hope to change all that. It is still possible to make it to 240, but I need to regain the focus I had 3 months ago.
Weight: 254.0
I can feel my body needs rest. I ran a simple lap and walked it as well. My body was just too tired.
Will try to get a good sleep tonight.
Weight: 256.0
Today I did a 1000 calorie workout. One thing I noticed is that the tough part is starting, after the first 10 or 15 minutes I feel committed and the rest of the workout goes smoothly.
Here was today’s workout
Elliptical 163 calories 12 minutes
Treadmill 306 calories 15 minutes 5MPH 5 Incline
Bike 240 Calories 20 minutes
Treadmill 169 15min 3.6MPH 4 incline
Elliptical 154 Calories 12 minutes
All at a weight of 250
But my weight today was actually
Weight: 252.6
I haven’t pushed my weights to the max yet. Today I tried it for the first time with my buddy Rob. I tried benching 45’s today and my other buddy Nate said I should put more now that I got a spotter. Ended up adding 5 more lbs per side.
I like it.
Next week I will push harder.
