{"id":621,"date":"2009-12-26T13:36:16","date_gmt":"2009-12-26T20:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lazyplayer.com\/blog\/?page_id=621"},"modified":"2009-12-26T13:36:16","modified_gmt":"2009-12-26T20:36:16","slug":"fall-report","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.lazyplayer.com\/blog\/?page_id=621","title":{"rendered":"Fall Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disappointing, that was the word that sums up the Fall report.<\/p>\n<p>I started the Fall out at 263.\u00a0 In the Summer I went from 295 to 263.\u00a0 That is 32 lbs.<\/p>\n<p>In Fall I went from 263 to 250, less than half the production I had in the first 3 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>September<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First off, it was starting to get darker.\u00a0 Not so bad yet, but running was becoming more difficult.<\/p>\n<p>My schedule was beginning to fill up with little free time to work out.\u00a0 But I found the time and still worked out.<\/p>\n<p>Then my weight started fluctuating and I thought a lot of it was bloat.\u00a0 But before end of month I found the inspiration and will to get my weight down\u00a0 to under 260.<\/p>\n<p><strong>October<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It started getting darker and I found myself running in the dark.\u00a0 It was not too bad, the artificial light seemed enough.<\/p>\n<p>Then came the rain and the cold.\u00a0 In the middle of the month, my wife left for Hawaii with our younger kids leaving me with the oldest who could not miss school.\u00a0 I thought I could cope with this and find time to work out.\u00a0 Unfortunately I did not.\u00a0 To make things worse, I was not eating right.<\/p>\n<p>In spite all that, I was able to get my weight down into the low 250&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>I did get a physical with my Doctor, I promised I would post on it but never did.\u00a0 The Doctor was impressed with my numbers, I have improved a lot from the 305 I was at in April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>November<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I got new shoes and it helped my running immensly.\u00a0 I also tried out a video workout and realized that would for me during the cold months ahead.\u00a0 But bad things were ahead.<\/p>\n<p>A week after my wife and kids got back from Hawaii I got sick.\u00a0 That really impacted the intensity of my workout.<\/p>\n<p>I did see a Dietician which helped a lot in good thing too because\u00a0the first big food Holiday reached us&#8230;. Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Amazingly enough I behaved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After that I started tracking my food consumption.<\/p>\n<p><strong>December<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tracking food consumption was what helped me kill the 250 monster.\u00a0 I finally did it, 4 consecutive days under 250.\u00a0 But the joy did not last.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know what did it, the lingering illness, the pretty cold weather, something a ate, or the pine cone a stepped on late November which may have tweaked my foot.\u00a0\u00a0 I had a gout flareup, and a pretty intense long one.\u00a0 I am writing this on December 26 and normally the seasonal report ends on the 20th day of the 3rd month, but I am still hurting.<\/p>\n<p>And this part is disheartening.<\/p>\n<p>I am angry at this whole process.\u00a0 Sometimes am am grouchy for no reason too.\u00a0 I finally broke 250 and this has to happen and history shows that whenever I get close to 250, I break down.\u00a0 Usually with gout.<\/p>\n<p>I started eating unhealthily, work was hard to do, and I stopped tracking my eating habits.\u00a0 I was eyeballing my meals.\u00a0 Hoping it was enough to keep my weight down while my foot got better.<\/p>\n<p>I feel my muscles getting weaker too.\u00a0 Everything I worked for seems to be slipping away.\u00a0 I know must wait till my foot really heals before I continue my journey.<\/p>\n<p>I guess you can say fall was the season of broken promises and dreams.<\/p>\n<p>On final note though.\u00a0 When my foot does get better, I will come back with a fierce determination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disappointing, that was the word that sums up the Fall report.
