{"id":184,"date":"2009-08-08T20:50:28","date_gmt":"2009-08-09T03:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lazyplayer.com\/blog\/?p=184"},"modified":"2009-08-08T20:50:28","modified_gmt":"2009-08-09T03:50:28","slug":"just-messing-around-when-i-came-across-this-gem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lazyplayer.com\/blog\/?p=184","title":{"rendered":"Just messing around when I came across this gem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I was doing some housecleaning (IT housecleaning not house housecleaning) when I came accross a simple text document dated 9\/7\/2007 called Weight.txt.\u00a0 It is an old notepad document Pre Blog for me where I did keep a track of my weight.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Boy was it interesting and it kind of hits me in the gut because it puts some of my weight gain in the past couple years into perspective.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I can only assume that the first entry is Oct 20, 2005.\u00a0 I weighed in at 275, which is what I am today.\u00a0 So based on this time timeable, I can lose another 25 pounds in about 2 more months, that will land me early October.\u00a0 Hopefully I can trim another 25 lbs by Christmas which will put me at my goal of 225 before end of year.<\/p>\n<p>Couple intersting things that this data has shown&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Things happen that affects my schedule&#8230; sickness, birth, camping, and classes.<\/li>\n<li>The next bogeyman is 250.\u00a0 This chart never shows me breaking 250.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve shown I can keep a record for at least 7 months.\u00a0 This blog does have a lifespan of about a year.<\/li>\n<li>Two months in I flatten out and stay flat for a month, then it starts creeping up.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, this small text file tells a huge story but no details.\u00a0\u00a0 I think this blog is the way to go.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here it is:<\/p>\n<p>Weight<br \/>\nOct 20 275<br \/>\nOct 27 271.5<br \/>\nNov 3\u00a0 270<br \/>\nNov 11 268.5<br \/>\nNov 17 262.5 Was Sick<br \/>\nNov 24 261.5 Post-workout Pre-dinner (Thanksgiving)<br \/>\nDec 1\u00a0 256.5 After unusually hard work out (5 miles)<br \/>\nDec 8\u00a0 251 On new scale<br \/>\nDec 15 250 Getting Harder to loose.\u00a0 Looks like plateau.<br \/>\nDec 22 250 Yup hit plateau, need to revise workout and diet now.\u00a0 This was week of netbackup classes<br \/>\nDec 29 250 Close, needed a really hard workout to hit 250.<br \/>\n2006<br \/>\nJan 5\u00a0 252 Gained weight but am lifting now need protein and will grow<br \/>\nJan 12 254 Gout filled week.\u00a0 Workouts weak<br \/>\nJan 19 250 Kind of Suprised, foot still hurts<br \/>\nJan 26 254 Sick, Back sore, really toned down workout<br \/>\nFeb 2\u00a0 251 Not too bad.\u00a0 Slowly building out workout<br \/>\nFeb 9\u00a0 253 Ugh gaining weight again<br \/>\nFeb 16 258 This is my weight after eating so it is high<br \/>\nFeb 23 257 OK GOod sign going back down again<br \/>\nMar 2\u00a0 259 Changed workout time to AM<br \/>\nMar 9\u00a0 259 At least I haven&#8217;t broken 260<br \/>\nMar 16 260 Yaaaa even after my workout OK time to get serious again<br \/>\nMar 23 259 Some promise of going down<br \/>\nMar 30 259 Stable<br \/>\nApr 6\u00a0 260 Hmm Back up a little Its OK Marcus was born so been busy<br \/>\nApr 13 260 Stable<br \/>\nApr 20 259 Finally starting to lose<br \/>\nApr 27 261 Uh oh<br \/>\nMay\u00a0 4 265 Oh no!!<br \/>\nMay 11 265 Damnn Harder to lose weight<br \/>\nMay 18 272 Hmm<br \/>\nMay 25 275 this is an estimate<br \/>\n2007<br \/>\nAug\u00a0 1 273<br \/>\nAug\u00a0 8 271<br \/>\nAug 15 270<br \/>\nAug 22 275 Weird Scale was moved though<br \/>\nAug 29 273 Going down<br \/>\nSep\u00a0 5 275 Gained some during camping<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I was doing some housecleaning (IT housecleaning not house housecleaning) when I came accross a simple text document dated 9\/7\/2007 called Weight.txt.\u00a0 It is an old notepad document Pre Blog for me where I did keep a track of &hellip;
