Whoa, what happened to my weight

I am kind of surprised at the scale reading this morning, but as usual, I am not worried.

I think the prior weight where I was under 263 were anomolies because of dehydration.

I think my true weight is 264-265.

Got a gym workout this morning, 4 miles on treadmill.  Need to find a way to add 2 miles walking.

Switching schedules

Life happens, got duties at work, commitments to my kids education, birthday parties.  So I am switching schedules.

Also, I am on the hook to burn an access of 1500 calories per day.  From now till I hit 250, I am going to say that my BMR is 2,300 and a mile run or walk burns 200 calories just to make calculations easier.  So if I stick to a 2000 calorie diet plus running or walking 6 miles a day, I should make it.

But I got some maintenance duties at work, my kids school function and a birthday party to attend.  I’ll figure something out.

This morning I ran a 2 mile (or 2 laps which is more than a mile each) my time was 27:05.23, gonna hit gym later.  If I do 3 miles in gym + gym work, that should do it.

Getting darker at night

I ran a 4+ today as scheduled.  Unfortunately I forgot to start the stopwatch.

But it is getting darker.  Daylight is getting scarce and it is about to get worse.  Fall equinox is in 2 days and it will be worse.

Anyway, on a brighter note, I today is a special day.  It is the 3 month mark of my training.  I will publish a special page today, on my status.

Puyallup Fair didn’t set me back as much

This is a late post but I did run a 4+ earlier today.  Decent time, 53:37, it would have been a new record if it weren’t for 2 fairly long stop lights.

We went to the Puyallup Fair yesterday.  Boy did I pig out on earthquake burgers, fries, ribs, corn, bar b q chicken, elephant ears, ice cream.   Man I was full.

I thought it would have an extremely negative impact on me today.  It did in that when I woke up, it felt like I was drinking last night and my stomach was upset.

To my surprise, my weight was decent, and this is official.  New record, pretty sure.  If I crack 258 by next Friday, I would say my chances of making weight is better than good.

New Records and still not done for the day

Ran another 4+ today, I had a pretty good time, the fastest since I started timing it with my watch,  51:31.

I think I did go under 50 minutes once, but today I will call this the record because the other was timed with my blackberry which did not give seconds.

I still have more to go today because I have a gym session.

Today’s weigh in is a record as well.  But here is the cavaet, I feel dehydrated.  So if I am going to make my 250 in 5 weeks, the weigh in is gonna probably be when I am dehydrated.

But in 5 weeks, even at 15 lbs away I can still make it… cool thing is… I am not 15 lbs away.

Running in the dark

So today I was supposed to run only 1 mile and walk 1 mile because it is  a rest day.  I ended up running the entire 2 miles.

Anyway, it is getting pretty dark, I started my run at 5:40 AM, got back about 6:20.  Kind of slow for two miles, but it was dark, and I forgot my watch so the time actually was when I left and returned to the house.  Not when I started my run, because there is some travel from my home to the route.

Anyway, working early again today, so got to get to work, but it is cool because I am going home early.

The rest of today will be a rest day.  Tomorrow will be awesome.

The weight I think is a record.  Tomorrow I hope to break it.

Worked out in gym this AM

Well I am worked out at the gym again this morning, hence the late post.

I did jump on the gym scale and lo and behold it said 262.

Alas, tis not official.  My weight before workout today which is official is

Workout Schedule

So yesterday’s (actually today’s) late post got me thinking of my workout schedule.

  1. Monday – Gym run on Treadmill 4 miles in 1 hour.  Add another 2 mile walk.  Bus walk suffices.
  2. Tuesday – 2 mile morning run + Gym chest workout w/ 2 mile walk either outside or on Treadmill
  3. Wednesday – Gym run on Treadmill 4 miles in 1 hour.  Add another 2 mile walk.  Bus walk suffices.
  4. Thursday – Low workout day. 1 mile run 1 mile walk.
  5. Friday – Heavy workout day, 4+ AM run, Gym arms workout w/ 2 mile walk.
  6. Saturday – 4+
  7. Sunday – 4+

Yesterday’s workout was incredible, I think that is the most I ever sweat.

Forgot to post yesterday

I went off my normal routine yesterday and ended up working out at work.

So this is a late post and you will see one in a few minutes after my AM run, but the weight is yesterday’s weight.

I did weigh myself on the scale after work and it did show 265.

Football Season is starting

So the football season is starting.  It is going to start affecting my workout shedule since I am a football junkie.

Anyway, late workout again.  I ran a 4+ today, I thought I was gonna have a crappy run but it turned out all right.

My time was a respectable 55:47

We did eat out today and I seem to be eating a lot lately.  I know this will effect me schedule.  But today’s weigh was surprising.
